Biography
My name is Mrs. Tracey Platenyk. This is my 10th year of teaching technology at the elementary school level. I graduated from Montclair State University and received my teaching credentials from New Jersey City University.
Since entering the teaching field, I have taught technology. I began my teaching career at Mother Teresa Regional School in Atlantic Highlands. Prior to teaching, I worked in the corporate world for more than 20 years. Between raising my children, I had my own consulting firm as well as various other positions. I was also a school volunteer throughout my children's tenure on various committees, such as the PTA and Marching Band Parents Association.
I currently live in Point Pleasant, having moved from Middletown, with my husband and two children.
Some of my favorite things are being with family and friends, boating on the Barnegat Bay, baseball and the NY Yankees, riding my beach cruiser bicycle, boating and sailing, the beach and being anywhere by the water.
I am very excited to be part of the St. Aloysius School community and look forward to meeting parents and students.
